Online Registration

Online registration for the 2014-2015 school year is now open. Rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors (and siblings who are freshmen) who attended SHS last year are eligible to register online and thus avoid long lines and frustration. By registering and paying online, parents/guardians will not need to physically report to SHS for “Facts and Fees” on August 5th or 6th.  Schedules and any other applicable paperwork of all students who have registered and paid fees prior to July 25th will be mailed home on August 1st.  There will be a second mailing on August 13th for those students who have registered and paid fees by August 8th. Students will report to school on August 18th with this schedule.  Although the order of the classes may have changed, the homeroom will not.  Students will report to homeroom at 7:15 a.m. on the first day to secure a copy of the most up-to-date schedule.

This process of registering online is simple. Click the Online Registration link above and follow the prompts to open the eSchools Payments program. It is an easy-to-follow process that will allow you to update all personal information, to indicate free or reduced lunch status, and to select to pay all fees that pertain to you. Options include registration fee, locker fee, Driver Education fee, and parking permits.  If you owe obligations from the 2013-2014 school years, you will be asked to pay those prior to completing the process.  After you have selected all items that you wish to pay for, you will be asked to pay by using Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. You may call the school (873-6460) if you have questions.

Students whose schedules require changes should email their counselors the following information:
1.    Name and grade.
2.    Why they need the change. Valid reasons include a) student has already taken and passed the class, b) student is a senior and needs an alternate class to graduate, c) student does not meet the perquisite for the class.
3.    What class they want to drop.
4.    What class they want to add, along with an alternative (in case classes are full).
5.    Any special notes.
6.    A good phone number in the event the counselor needs to call.
